If you are visiting the park to have a picnic with your loved ones, you won't be disappointed. There are many picnic tables, grills, benches, and other seating arrangements. You can also bring your own food if you prefer, or buy from the convenience store located on-site for snacks and beverages.

They sell prepared meals such as burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. You can choose from a variety of drinks to wash it all down including soft drinks, fruit juices, and local beers.


For those that are looking for some physical activity, Rosedale Park has something for you too. There is a basketball court, lighted tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and a jogging trail that winds through the park’s grounds. If fishing is your thing, you can enjoy the three stocked ponds full of catfish, bass, and perch to catch for your dinner. You can bring your own rod and reel, or rent one from the park’s on-site store. They also have bait available for purchase in case you need some extra supplies.

Birdwatching is another popular activity at the park. You can expect to see native and migratory birds, including egrets, herons, owls, and ospreys. If you're interested, bring a camera and a pair of binoculars to get the best view.

Nature Center
